We want you to be completely satisfied. Here's how our return and refund process works.
1Return Window
Returns are only considered if a request is made within 5 days of placing the order. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for processing.
- Return requests may be declined if the seller has already initiated shipping or the product is in transit at the time of the request.
- In such cases, customers retain the option to refuse delivery at their doorstep.
- Perishable or time-sensitive items are generally excluded from cancellation or return requests.
2Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or materially different from its description on our website, you are eligible for a refund or replacement.
To initiate a claim:
- Report the issue within 5 days of receiving the product.
- Provide clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or defect.
- Our team will review and the seller will validate the claim independently.
- Discrepancies between the product's appearance and its site description must also be reported within 5 days.
We reserve the right to assess each claim on a case-by-case basis and may request additional information.
3Warranty Claims
Warranty-related complaints and claims should be directed to the product manufacturer or authorised service centre.
SOLAR-MAIT acts as a marketplace facilitator. For products covered under a manufacturer warranty, please refer to the warranty documentation included with your product or contact the manufacturer directly.
Our support team can assist you in identifying the appropriate contact for warranty claims.
4Refund Processing
Once a return or refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- The exact time for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
5Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before the seller has initiated shipping. To cancel an order, please contact our support team as soon as possible after placing it.
- Cancellation requests submitted after dispatch will not be accepted.
- For prepaid orders, refunds for approved cancellations follow the same 7–10 business day processing timeline.
- Orders that have entered the installation or service fulfilment stage cannot be cancelled.
